Okay unfaithful ones, I need to get a life.
So here I was watching Saturday Night Live (Google v. iPhone) when I noticed this post on the MarinadeDave blog: ALERT! Zenaida Myspace page logged into today!
Now, my first reaction was:
No shit, Zenaida’s got a MySpace page? She needs to get a life too. I mean who uses MySpace anymore?
But then I remembered that Casey Anthony had already ruined her life and that this Zenaida Gonzalez had hired The M-Team to clear her name. (Listen: The M-Team Intro)
Now aside from my continuing suspicions about whether The M-Team took on Ms. Gonzalez’s case out of the goodness of their hearts solely to clear poor little old Zenaida Gonzalez’s name (I am unaware of them donating any time to the Florida Innocence Project or helping people like James Bain, Leroy McGee, or Bill Dillon clear their equally valuable names), I thought this post needed some looking into.
And man was I reeled in, it was great – if Casey really set up this MySpace page, it provided proof of cold and calculating pre-meditation. But then I read the HinkyMeter and it appears this may be some elaborate hoax 
Undeterred, I moseyed on over to WebSleuths and there it was like lights on a Christmas Tree: Is Casey the real Zenaida? This thread had Five Star ratings and all. I was hooked for about five minutes – and then I got a headache.
But around page 25 of the thread, I did come across some righteous conspiracy angles regarding the issuing of traffic tickets to both Annie Downing and Zenaida Gonzalez on May 24, 2008… (cue mystery music)
Now the first thing that came to my mind was:
“Well, I understand why that reporter called me on April 10, 2009 and asked me to look into this TicketGate.”
And so look is exactly what I did and (Spoiler Alert) while I did not find any real Casey Anthony link, I think I may have found a real juicy Cindy Anthony conspiracy theory – shall I explain?
As most of you guessed, the first thing I did was visit the Orange County Clerk’s website to look up both Annie Downing and Zenaida Gonzalez. To my amazement, there were tickets issued to them both on the same day – the plot thickens.
But wait, it appears that Ms. Gonzalez received not one BUT two tickets…
Now this second ticket was a criminal ticket (more on that later), so it must have been that dastardly Casey Anthony if it was a criminal ticket! She clearly was posing as Zenaida Gonzalez AND Annie Downing on the same day; or was she? Well, this is what inquiring minds want to know! (And National Enquiring minds too, I suppose.)
But before I go any further, I need to explain a little court procedure.
As I explained in a non-Casey Anthony post (Florida’s Uniform Case Numbering System) Florida utilizes a uniform case numbering system that utilizes a twenty character sequence that has five components (Boring I know, but necessary).
And so the case numbers assigned to the three tickets were as follows:
- 48-2008-TR-104021-O; Annie L. Downing
- 48-2008-TR-028407-W; Zenaida Gonzalez
- 48-2008-CT-002378-W; Zenaida Gonzalez
As you may have noticed, the third and fifth components of the case numbers have some differences.
First, you probably notice that the third case number has “CT” in it. Well this tells people this is a Criminal Traffic offense and is technically a misdemeanor, just like a battery or petit theft. The “TR” stands for traffic infraction and is civil in nature. An important distinction is also the manner in which they can be resolved: a traffic infraction can be paid, a criminal traffic offense requires a mandatory court appearance.
Second, you may have noticed that the first ticket ends in “O” (as in Orange) and the second two end in “W” (as in West). This last letter is used by the Orange County Clerk of Court to designate which courthouse the tickets are to be handled at if they are contested.
So all cases that end in “O” are resolved at the downtown Orange County Courthouse and all tickets that end in “W” are resolved at the Ocoee Courthouse Annex, which also happens be the western most courthouse building in Orange County. If the tickets had ended in “E,” they would have been resolved at the Winter Park Courthouse Annex, which also happens to be the eastern most courthouse building in Orange County (coinkydink, I think not).
So now we know that Ms. Gonzalez’s second ticket was both a criminal case and was to be resolved at the Ocoee Courthouse. And there is one other interesting thing that many people don’t know, the courthouse where the case is resolved is the courthouse that maintains the court file (for at least two years) – this will be important for later.
So with this information in hand I then went to the downtown courthouse to see what I could get on Ms. Downing’s case. I was informed by the Clerk that the original ticket no longer existed because it had been imaged. So of course I had the nice lady print me out a copy: (PDF: Annie L. Downing; 48-2008-TR-104021-W).
Interestingly, the Clerk was also able to print me out a copy of Ms. Gonzalez’s traffic infraction. (PDF: Zenaida Gonzalez; 48-2008-TR-28407-W).
Now the ticket itself provides me with very little information, but it did tell me that Ms. Gonzalez did not have a Florida Driver License number (which explains her criminal ticket of No Valid Driver’s License) and I was intrigued by the way the ticket was signed – Zenaida Gonzalez C.
Now at this point you have noticed that I was unable to unearth any information on the criminal case; but all was not lost unfaithful ones – for I was undeterred and drove my happy ass down to the Ocoee Courthouse Annex.
And sure enough I was able to finagle my way into the file room and what should I find… None other than a video of Casey Anthony pretending to be Zenaida Gonzales!!!
No, really what I found was the court file for Ms. Zenaida Gonzalez (PDF: Zenaida Gonzalez; 48-2008-CT-2378-W). And after reviewing the file, I quickly realized this Zenaida Gonzalez had absolutely nothing to do with Casey Anthony or these cases.
It reveals that when Ms. Gonzalez was stopped, Officer Allen was unable to communicate with her because she spoke Espanol (Go figure!). As a result, he called Officer Narvaez who does speak Spanish. Officer Narvaez then issued Ms. Gonzalez two tickets:
- A civil ticket for Failure to Yield and
- A criminal ticket for Driving without a valid Driver License.
Ms. Gonzalez then appeared for court on June 11, 2008 and lo and behold, she still had not mastered the English language. So she signed a Spanish Plea Form and plead Nolo Contendere. The Court then Withheld Adjudication of Guilt, fined her $100, and imposed court costs. Ironically, the court issued her a Notice of Fine and Fees as well as her sentencing disposition in English! No wonder she did not pay her court costs on time.
So, it appears that this Zenaida Gonzalez had nothing to do with Casey, or did she?
Well, ye unfaithful may remember Cindy Anthony’s civil deposition with The M-Team. And if you remember correctly, there was a lot of ruckus about “C. Zenaida Gonzalez.” (WESH: Casey Anthony’s Parents Questioned In Civil Suit.)
The main contention was about the significance of the name C. Zenaida Gonzales appearing on the Sawgrass Apartments log. I assume this is important because Casey clearly told Lee Anthony that the nanny’s name was Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez.
And I think Cindy’s point was that if The M-Team’s “Zenaida Gonzalez” signed her name C. Zenaida Gonzalez, there would be no way for Casey to know that her full name was really Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez.
So what is my point to all of this nonsense – that it is just that, nonsense.
For once in my life, I find myself agreeing with Cindy Anthony; meaning that there was no way for Casey Anthony to extrapolate that the “C. Zenaida Gonzalez” who signed the Sawgrass Apartment log was actually The M-Team’s “Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez.”
And the reason I believe her is because:
- Casey Anthony is a liar, liar, pants on fire! and
- THERE IS NOT A “REAL” ZENAIDA GONZALEZ.
No, Casey Anthony’s Zenaida Gonzalez is none other than a Zanny Bar otherwise known as Xanax!
That is right:
- There is no real Zenaida on MySpace that is linked to this case,
- There was no super sleuthing by Casey to figure out that C. Zenaida Gonzalez was actually Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez,
- Nor is the Zenaida Gonzalez C. who was ticketed on the same day as Annie Downing linked to this case.
Nope these conspiracy theories are giving me a headache.
Why doesn’t Casey Anthony’s real Zenaida Gonzalez please stand up?

Even if Casey is telling the TRUTH it was known no one would ever believe her from the get go!

It looks to me like she found a Zenaida Gonzalez at Cast Iron Tattoos. Right in her own neighborhood. If she was looking for a Zenaida Gonzalez to frame, she didn’t have to go far. Lucky for this Zenaida that Morgan is representing her.
Brings to mind the woman of the same name in a neighboring county who had her office broken into and her computer stolen on June 9th, coincidently the date of when Casey originally said her daughter was “kidnapped”.

I am a woman. kc is a liar. It’s been proven time and time and time and time again. I am proud to be an American and having been in the Air Force many years ago served my country. To clarify, I never said I know nothing about the case. I’ve read all of the released discovery documents. I’ve also read a lot of information that I have no way of confirming if it’s fact or rumor. Most things on the Internet related to Zenaida Gonzalez are not facts obtained from discovery docs. We’ll learn all of the facts when we watch Casey’s three trials, the first starting in January if she doesn’t take a plea before hand.
She will plea she knows Judge Strickland wants a plea or will sentence her like he does any other person on these same charges in his courtroom. As the Judge said in the very beginning and Richard has reminded us of “Ms Anthony you and the truth are strangers! Enough said. We all only know what we read in discovery. Funny the state has released over 11,000 pages and baez NONE. Yeah that shows innocence. NOT.

In court on 12/11/2009 Judge Strickland mentioned at the end of the hearing to both sides something to the effect he would have a jury ready for selection next week if he did not hear from either or bth sides. I suspect they had off the record discussions about how they were going to conduct jury selection in the fraud case. I bet the judge told Baez his intent was to first try and select the jury in Orlando and only then try elsewhere. Probably told both parties that if they had an objection to that they need to file them – otherwise he would proceed forward as stated.

Mr. Hornsby, I doubt that Blink cares anything about people running with her story about the great adventure, critiquing the work and the arguments, positions. Seems to me, and I could be wrong, but it’s prudent to not take the story from WS or other blogger comments, who had nothing to do with the story but to comment on it. If there is any critique to be made, the WS and other comments, are not the best source, the story itself is.
Why bring in the WS or other site’s comments? They were only going off Blink’s writing so any critique of the work, should go to that source. JMHO.
Otherwise, love reading over here too. Although heckler is the Anthony camp resident, that too, is interesting, does heckler give a clue as to the revisiting of Zanny as Mr. Morgan’s client? Seems so, but this is not the first clue we have seen in that direction, by an Anthony supporter aka follower.
No, I found the critiques directly on Blink’s site. It is very clear in her comments she believes I “stole her theory” and was too unprofessional to acknowledge her work. What I believe is at issue is that although many people have pointed out to you the theory was my original content, you continue to waive a receipt for April 10. I have no reason to doubt your word whatsoever, but you also have a responsibility when you post on the web to due diligence on your subject matter. I don’t know who your researchers/editors are, but a simple google search on the concept would have shown the above referenced article.
What I have said I felt was unprofessional about you, is the same thing I would say to anyone bashing colleagues. I have alot of friends that are attorneys, some of them even know you, and I can tell you I have never heard an ill-word about a colleague in a profession regulated by ethics and responsibility.
Let me take that back, with the exception of 2 that used to be Frat brothers but that doesn’t count.
What I have also said, is that when your site launched I felt there was a real need for an objective legal perspective as this case proceeds to trial and I was hopeful that was your focus.

I just read your post from your link for the first time. So I give you full credit for debunking that myth before I did. But let me be clear, I had never read your post until today – fair?
Then again, I took the extra effort to obtain the LE narrative and Spanish plea form from the ZG’s court file. Because she did not speak English – that is what I based my opinion on – not clerk web dockets. If anything, I did more research IMO than you. But the point is I came to my opinion completely independent of yours, even if yours was months before mine.
As for objectivity, (and this really has nothing to do with you I am just venting) I say my thoughts as I believe them. I think Sheaffer is a sell out, I don’t really care if that is considered professional or not – he is a sell out. You like him because he agrees with you, is Kathi B’s sidekick, and tells you things you want to hear. Woo Hoo, he is a god!
I personally think his actions were unprofessional and unethical, and if these so called colleagues of mine were too scared to call him out – they need to get out of criminal law. You need to understand, until this case, I had never seen Sheaffer in court before. He is an old guy pretending to still be relevant. I would put my record for the past ten years up against his any day. Except for grey hair, he had nothing on me. He sold out his colleagues for Kathi B. And if he wants to sleep with the devil, so be it. I’ll be his huckleberry from now on.
I also think Baez is scum of the earth (more on that in a few days) but he is. Both of these clowns are why defense attorneys get a bad name.
As for Kathi B., anyone can scream outlandish questions and sound like an avenging angel when the person you are screaming them at represents public enemy number one. She only started doing that once she had burned all bridges with Baez and Baez would not talk to her anymore. She had no other tactic to go with – she is a hypocrite too.
But back to Sheaffer, I can’t stand lawyers like him. He is out of touch with the law and was saying whatever Kathi B. wanted him to say because it sounded good for tv. He is as much a clueless wonder as Baez. Notice he shut his trap after I called him out, because he doesn’t know the law. He would just say esoteric statements that sounded good in a vacuum, but were utterly wrong – just like Baez. Once put to a little “peer review” his expert opinion proved – lacking.
As for these colleagues of mine you “know,” you tell them to man up and say something to my face if they think I am over stepping my professional or ethical bounds. Otherwise, they are also violating the Florida Rules of Professionalism – as all attorneys have a duty to report unethical behavior by other attorneys. With that said, they either know they are wrong or are scared to voice their opinion; either way I have no respect for them.
I can assure you, neither my ethics or my definition of professionalism will be defined by lawyers who have handled a fraction of the real cases as me and whose professional record cannot compare to mine. Be clear my record speaks for itself – I walk the walk and talk the talk. Neither Sheaffer or Baez does (or these other attorneys you know).
Make no mistake, before I outed Sheaffer because he directly contradicted me, I rarely read anything online. But once I outed him and people were taking his side, I took my case right to the public and I think proved I was right (although juvenile in my approach, but I don’t care, I am who I am).
Anyway, why am I posting so much now? Because I am tired of reporters coming to me about what they think is relevant instead of asking me what I think is relevant. I have a lot of thoughts and I will speak them how I want – not how you want.
Will what I think be objective? If your opinion of objective is: pro-prosecution/justice for Caylee; probably not.
If your idea of objective is: what does the law say and what is likely to occur – even if you don’t agree with it – then you will find me objective, even if you don’t like my opinion.
As for sugar and eggs, I play flag football at Delaney Park every Saturday morning with a cross-section of Orlando that Kathi B. would be too uncomfortable to show her face around, much less associate with. There is no one in this town that knows more people than me and Kathi B. can kiss my ass with her sensationalist reporting.
I would like to thank you for letting me know you are associated with her – and thus your true colors. I am going to re-dedicate myself to exposing her false and sensational reporting. Which she does, not to get “justice for caylee” but to get ratings. She is a fraud, Sheaffer is a fraud, and they are perfect for each other as they try to keep up with Jose “I represent the presumption of innocence” Baez – the biggest fraud of them all.

I do not know Bill Schaeffer. You will notice I have never commented on his blog, nor have I read it. I never once mentioned him to you. The Kathi B was snark. I will try to be more overt in the future.

Kathi B used my work to get an interview and *BOMBSHELL* on Nancy Grace re Todd Black. I had actually turned down an appearance regarding that work previously, because, well you know, Nancy is Nancy.
The next day her news editor and I chatted, then we had a 3 way.

If you don’t mind me pointing something out, I think where the miscommunication is occurring is that you stated yourself that you investigated the ZG22 traffic ticket at the request of the TV station in April. Well, that was many moons after Blink had written about her extensive investigation into the issue.
I think the point that is being missed is that the news station got the story from Blink’s work, then passed it to you to look into.
At that time you most likely did not know where the information was coming from, but “Ticketgate”, as you refer to it, would have come from Blink’s work.

You have the telephone number and address of the ticketed 22 (or was it 23) year old 5’2″ Zenaida Gonzalez in Winter Park. Have you rung her up to see what she might be able to confirm? (if not, did you give the contact info to the reporter? They might be able to solve the mystery)
This is still intriguing, until it’s solved one way or another.
Hi Val – Your last point is the important one. Richard is being accused of lifting something from Blink with knowledge. If he came by something that originated with Blink unbeknownst to him then what is the problem? He’s just saying that he did not plagiarize.
At a certain point information is out there in the ether. Ever wonder how two different films on the same subject happen to appear at the same time? It happens and it’s perfectly innocent. There is a large consciousness that connects from the same source and it is one of those things that happens all the time. I think the whole discussion is disingenous and silly myself. Respectfully.

I have basically called every move in this case from day one, and suddenly Blink thinks I stole her idea – well it is on.

I think Heckler seems to be and post more intelligently than Cindy. Unless what I have read different places is not her. So then I have not anything to compare with, then it is just just my opinion. Thank you Suze, I read that for the first time today and I noticed that she did not actually go look at the file. If you re-read her post, she actually had multiple possible theories. I on the other had one and my theory was because I had ACTUALLY LOOKED AT THE PHYSICAL COURT FILE and saw the ZG in the ticket case did speak a lick of English, I even posted the spanish plea form and LE narrative.
Could you imagine an investigative reporter not even looking at the court file?
Heckler, there is no such thing as 150%, but I understand that you believe Casey is innocent. Here’s a quote of yours regarding Zenaida, “The likelyhood of Casey actually running into one WHEN she really needed a ALIBI……………ZIP ZERO
Better chance at meeting GOD himself! IMO.” Have you figured out the odds on all of the other evidence that has been released? I don’t know how anyone other than Casey could conclude with 100% certainty if she is guilty or innocent.

The parents, George and Cindy made some stupid decisions as grandparents of a 2 year old baby by not looking out for her. No, it wasn’t their daughter, she ‘belonged’ as Cindy said, to Casey. But even a stranger worried about the care of a baby, could help, where Cindy was caring too much for whatever it was except the child.
What you are saying is that you believe Casey is not guilty of murder one, but she IS guilty certainly, of a murder of one. One little almost talking in sentences, baby.
Ok so how did the dead Catlee get in kc’s trunk? Why did she never report her missing? Why did she lie? Why did she invent people and some of them she even invented a child for connecting her to Zanny. Why does the duct tape on Caylee match the duct tape on the gas can of jojo? Why does the duct tape match the missing Caylee posters? So you would have us believe Caylee put the duct tape on herself, jumped into 2 trash bags and tied them up and then jumped in a laundry bag (which match those at the anthony house) and closed it! The deathband hair in kc’s trunk matched Caylee. Caylee’s body pattern is in the fetal postion in her car as seen in the photo in discovery! The body wax found on the paper towels in kc’s trunk. The time the botnist says the body was in the woods due to the growth thru her remains! All the reports from the body farm. And you can bet the FBI has not released everything to the SAO so they will have a big bombshell for baez before trial. The same place where kc buried her pets. Way to much points to the ONLY killer kc. Sorry but she will do the time for this as she should. Way to many lies and coverups. And baez is a clown. He could’nt find his way out of a wet paper bag. He will get kc the dp. However the smartest thing you said is kool aid sucks! JMO
Mr. Hornsby I, like others were glad to read your legal opinions on the C. Anthony case, but was put off a little by your arrogance towards other colleagues. I find that your legal opinions are valid but do not believe that you have to attack others for their beliefs. Everyone is entitled to them.
I’m bewildered by your reluctance to reply to “Blink’s” post to you. To me, the goal is the same, to try and figure out the complexities of this case. She’s right in saying that everyone should work together, because as she mentionioned in her post, between her and people like Valhall, MD, Bill Shaeffer and many others, we, the lay people, so to speak, will learn so much more than whatever the media could lay out there for us.
I certainly feel that there is room for everyone and no one has to be top dog, so to speak. IMO
